About FinWell
That's not just a tagline. It's the reason FinWell exists: to free business owners in the Spokane and Coeur d'Alene region from the burden of technology, so they can spend their time on what actually built their business in the first place.

Our mission
You didn't start this business to manage a network. FinWell exists to take that burden off your plate so you can get back to what matters most.
I've been in IT for a long time, as the IT director of a small business, a field technician for school districts across the region, an IT director for a large megachurch, and long before any of that, a kid fiddling with tech in the basement because it just made sense to me.
Along the way I built real relationships in this industry, and when the opportunity came to step out on my own and start FinWell, my wife and I prayed about it and felt like we had our answer. FinWell Business Technology Solutions opened its doors in June 2023.
What I love most about this work is the part most technicians skip: translating something highly technical into plain English, so the person in front of me actually understands what's happening with their business, not just what button to click.

No call center, no rotating cast. Here's who actually answers when you reach out.
Kenton Batson
Founder & Lead Technology Advisor
A kid who took apart electronics in the basement just to see how they worked, Kenton went on to wire and troubleshoot for school districts across the region and run IT for a megachurch with thousands of moving parts, before founding FinWell to do it his way: plain English, no ticket queue, and a phone he still answers himself.
Jonica Champatiray
Chief Accountability Officer
Her job is holding Kenton accountable, to every commitment he makes to every client, every time. It sounds like a small thing until you realize it's the reason FinWell's word is worth trusting. That's a real job, and it's hers.
Marvin R.
Engineer, CCNP
Cisco-certified network engineer handling the infrastructure work behind the scenes.
Seiche S.
Content Writer
Writes the plain-English content across FinWell, blog guides, service pages, and everything in between, so it always sounds like a person wrote it, not a brochure.
Everything FinWell does is rooted in that core belief, and in an outward expression of it.
There are processes here, because a business needs them. But at the end of the day, it's people I'm interfacing with, not tickets.
Sometimes the IT provider gets blamed for things outside their control, a botched cable install, a flaky ISP. I want to be the one who owns the problem to completion anyway.
What you're used to
A ticket queue. A call center. Whoever picks up. Waiting for something to break.
What you get with FinWell
One account rep who knows your business. Proactive monitoring. A partner, not a vendor.
We're not a national chain that landed here. We're built here, and we know the businesses that make this region run.
Most local IT companies scale by building a call center where nobody really knows your environment. FinWell is scaling differently: every customer gets paired with an account rep who is technical enough to know your environment and your team, not just your account number. As FinWell grows across the Spokane and Coeur d'Alene region, that's the part that won't change.
Meet the team →FAQ
We won't hand you an unverified top-five list, "biggest" depends on what you measure, and naming names without a solid source would be exactly the kind of claim we avoid. The better question for most businesses is fit, not scale.
Read the full answer →In short, a business that takes on responsibility for another company's technology, so the owner and staff aren't the ones diagnosing it. What that includes varies a lot by provider, from reactive break-fix to a full embedded technology partner.
Read the full answer →There's no honest, objective ranking of "the best," and we won't fabricate one. There are real, checkable signs of good support though: proactive monitoring, a consistent point of contact, plain-English communication, and a track record of owning problems through to resolution.
Read the full answer →Our sweet spot is 20 to 75 computers: built-environment and professional advisory businesses in the Spokane and Coeur d'Alene region, plus churches and nonprofits. If you're outside that range, reach out anyway and we'll tell you honestly if we're a fit.
Let's talk. No pressure, no jargon. Just a clear picture of where you stand.
